BBC Radio Music Managers Event

On July 21st 2025, music managers gathered at BBC Broadcasting House in London for an insightful MMF and BBC Music event,  where discussions centred on the future of the BBC’s music strategy and its impact on both emerging and established artists.

We heard directly from the heads of each BBC radio station, spanning Radio 1 to Radio 6, who outlined their approaches to championing new talent while maintaining support for established acts. The open dialogue emphasised that, even in an era dominated by streaming, radio continues to provide unique opportunities — through interviews, live sessions, on-air features, and integrated social content — for artists to connect with audiences in meaningful ways.

The event reinforced, for managers and artists alike, the ongoing importance of radio as part of a successful artist development strategy. As the industry continues to evolve, it’s encouraging to see the BBC reaffirming its commitment to nurturing talent at every stage.

Staying engaged with these conversations and networks ensures we are well-positioned to advocate for our artists and bring fresh industry insight to every project.
