Music Industry Mondays guest speaker on April 15th

Join Super Specific's Daniel Scott for his Music Industry Mondays guest talk, "The music industry: it's not a lottery," on April 15th.

Daniel's talk at the London College of Contemporary Music (LCCM), titled "The music industry: it's not a lottery," promises to be a thought-provoking exploration of how to create your own opportunities in today's ever-evolving music landscape.

Drawing from his own journey, Daniel will share insights on the benefits of leveraging technology and data, as well as strategies developed at Super Specific for building sustainable artist businesses on your own terms.

Previous Music Industry Mondays speakers have featured industry veterans such as Mathew Knowles, the renowned manager behind Destiny's Child and Beyoncé's early success; Nick Raphael, the former President of the iconic Capitol Records UK label; and Claire Mas, Chief Operating Officer of the groundbreaking live streaming platform Driift.

"I'm thrilled to have the chance to speak at LCCM and share my perspective on navigating the music industry as an entrepreneur," said Daniel. "Too often, we're told that 'making it' in music is just a matter of luck. But I truly believe that with the right mindset, tools, and approach, artists and their teams can shape their own destiny."

Daniel's path into the music business, fueled by a lifelong passion for technology, has given him a unique vantage point in the industry. Attendees can expect to gain valuable insights into leveraging data to identify opportunities, building direct-to-fan relationships and revenue streams, as well as cultivating an entrepreneurial outlook.

The Music Industry Mondays event will be held on April 15th from 6 pm at The Music Box in Southwark, London. Tickets are available here.
