From guest speaking at Music Industry Mondays to securing publishing deals and helping artists reach streaming milestones, 2024 has been a transformative year in modernising how to approach artist management.
Daniel was thrilled to be a guest speaker at Music Industry Mondays in London in April. Previous Music Industry Mondays speakers have featured the likes of Mathew Knowles, Nick Raphael, and Claire Mas.
On Tileyard's industry guest panel, Daniel was joined by professionals from BMG, Tileyard Music, and Good Solider, representing names including The 1975, Freya Ridings, Birdy, and many more.
He was also awarded LinkedIn's Top Music Industry Voice award.
Two artist clients signed publishing deals with DSCVRD via Downtown Publishing: Wax Owls and EVNTYD.
Wax Owls supported Alexz Johnson for several dates on her "Seasons American Tour' 24".
In September, Daniel was invited to attend "Grow with TikTok" in London, an invite-only event aimed at helping small businesses get the most out of the platform.
Then, in November, Daniel attended the Music Manager Forum's event in London in collaboration with YouTube/Google.
Irish artist 1000 Beasts' second album crossed 1M streams on Spotify. Los Angeles band Wax Owls had their best all-time initial release window streaming performance, beating their next best release, which aired in Grey's Anatomy.
And there was so much more! We are thrilled with how the year shaped up and everything 2025 has in store for our artists.
